It is ideally suited to furniture, such as wardrobes or wooden areas such as skirting boards and bannisters, that do not require as much protection.

Restoration of your flooring is a complete overhaul of your existing flooring which may include joists works (if some movement or damp detected) subfloor (creaking, uneven, removal of concrete hearth, underfloor insulation (personal choice) & damaged floorboards (dry-rot, woodworm, splintered etc).
After our assessment you will be advised with the best way forward along with a very detailed quote & works schedule, we can supply all relevant materials that would be required including reclaimed floorboards to the same width & of very similar age.

Filling in the gaps can be very beneficial both in terms aesthetically & to keep out the cold draughts during the winter months, which means less heating costs overall & in turn increasing the heating within the room(s).
Should the gaps between the boards are of 3mm or less this can be filled in by mixing the dust that was previously collated when your floors was sanded then mixed to a paste with Bona resin & spread over the boards.
The other option should the gap(s) be wider than 3mm would be to insert & bond in reclaimed slivers, as you can see from the pictures below.

From time to time you will notice scratches or indentations from moving furniture around or the lacquer has just worn away & is not present anymore, or you may have some floorboards that are damaged for various reasons & need replacing.

We remove concrete hearth(s) & extend the current flooring to blend in, centre punching all nails & replace screws (if any) with traditional brad nails, any floorboards that have been cut across by more than one floorboard will be uplifted & replaced, should you have any damp, damaged, woodworm or dry rot floorboard(s) will also be replaced.
