We are a small established family run carpet business based in Stockport, Cheshire. We aim to give you, not only the best value carpets and vinyls, but also some good old fashioned service. Something, we believe is, sadly lacking in today's environment. Steele's Carpets moved to its current location on Buxton Road Stockport in 2011 after 19 years trading as The Carpet Centre in Shaw Heath, Stockport.
As we are family run, we felt it would be right to put our name to the business, hence the change of our trading name. Well over 50% of our business comes from either customers using us for at least a second time or people who have been recommended to use us. Our aim is to give you the best value and service in the town, offer a great selection of carpets, laminate flooring, kitchen vinyl, bathroom vinyl and rugs.

As a GENERAL guide Cushioned Vinyl will USUALLY work out less expensive than Solid Vinyl.
This is due to the product USUALLY being more expensive and there is USUALLY more work involved in the fitting process.
We offer a full fitting service including the uplift and removal of the existing floorcoverings and full floor preparation to the sub-floor.

Each of our carpet fitters has more than 20 years carpet fitting experience.
After installation of your new carpet we shall remove all the waste from the job and finally will then vacuum it for you!.
After your job has been completed we follow up your order with a note thanking you for your much-valued business and to check that we have met our required standard of in-store service, delivery schedules being met and that our fitters work and manner met your expectations.
