Services
We are a family run, localy company founded by Jamie Crisp.
We offer a complete home sample service providing good quality workmanship and advice with over 50 years combined experience and we're proud to be a local independent flooring company based in the beautiful surroundings of the North Norfolk coast.
We supply and install carpets, vinyls, laminate floors, karndean design floors, wetroom/low level access shower room flooring (full removal of old suites and complete installations are available for these), cork and natural floorings and not forgetting commercial flooring too!
Carpets have been around for hundreds of years and eventually the process of making carpets was transferred to machines allowing production on a larger scale, but the way they are made hasn't changed much.
What has changed is the design and style, however some of the early designs are still available today.
Twist pile and loop pile remain the most preferred throughout as they are the most cost effective to produce and usually fall into most consumers' budgets.
Carpets are made with either wool, man made materials or wool blend (a combination of both natural fibre and man made materials).
With many many years of experience between our fitters, you can be sure that the installation of your carpet, or any other type of flooring, will be done to the highest standards.
We follow all manufacturers guidlines when fitting your new flooring to ensure that warranties remain valid and you get piece of mind that your new flooring has been installed correctly.
Our ethos is simple, if its not right, its wrong.
We can remedy loose and uneven floor boards, repair cracks and faults in cement floors and trim any doors that require it.
An integral part of any carpet installation, the humble underlay, never seen, but always there to support you and your carpet through many foot steps and many years of use.
When choosing a new carpet, we will always recommend a new underlay.
This is important for your new carpet and your home.
By installing a new underlay, you'll know that you'll be providing the carpet with the best support from underneath, this will help prolong the life of the carpet.
Also, you'll be getting the latest quality of manufacturing to help with thermal insulation and safety standards, very relevant reasons to consider when considering new flooring.
Ever popular for its trendy patterns, resilience and ease of maintenance, vinyl flooring has been a huge success since its arrival in the late 1950's.
With a large range of realistic reproductions of natural products and modern plain designs, mottled or crazy loud patterns available, people were quick to get this incredibly useful floor covering into their homes.
Nowadays, things haven't changed that much, the way it is made is very similar, but it has become tougher, it has well sculpted surfaces that match the patterns perfectly and this also incorporates good slip resistance when wet. Vinyl flooring is available in different overall thicknesses with differing cushioning on the reverse side, some are now available with a felt backing.
